Meditation before sleep to plant seeds of happiness and health
into your subconscious mind:
Do you know how powerful your subconsciousness mind is? In fact it is much more powerful than your mind. 90-95% of your thoughts would occur in your subconscious minds. Most of the nerve fibres between the central nervous system and the autonomic nervous system originate in the The Enteric Nervous System( ENS). Nearly every substance that helps run and control the brain has been found in the digestive system. Just like the brain, the enteric nervous system uses at least 30 neurotransmitters. For example, 95% of the body’s serotonin, the “feel good” hormone, is found in the gut. This second brain of yours is truly an amazing sensory apparatus, to which responds not only your emotional state, but your immunity. It is seen as the organ of the subconscious mind, and is connected to your gut feelings. It is vital for your happiness and for your health as they are intimately connected.
Your subconscious mind sees you as you believe yourself to be. It does not differentiate between what you believe and what the truth is. Since the natural state of your subconscious is sleep, it is in your sleep that the body regulates itself.
For this meditation, I invite you to: Create a peaceful, loving and sacred space for yourself before bed time. Make the time to center yourself. Sit comfortably with a straight spine, breath slowly and deeply and connect to your deepest dreams and desires. Ask yourself and feel it in the body: ” How would it be like for me: to experience radiant health; to live with freedom of movement; to have a fulfilling and rewarding job that I like; to be in a happy, loving and nurturing relationship; to love and accept myself unconditionally; to be a conscious, attuned and responsible parent; to create my own business or project; to grow older being happy and healthy with the freedom of my body and mind…what ever you want to manifest into your life. Experience the feelings into your body, choosing your thoughts and emotional state. You need to feel it as if it is already manifested…how does it feel like? Think it, feel it, see it, smell it, taste it, enjoy it. Be aware at the same time of your analytical mind or judgements as you do the meditation. Be gentle to yourself if you go into judgement mode. Simply pause and come back to what you want to experience. Do it with curiosity as you may learn about yourself and see what are your blocks. You want to enter your sleep by reminding your subconscious to automatically fulfill your life-enhancing wishes.
These moments just before sleep are precious times to imprint the thoughts, feelings and emotions of whatever you wish for, connecting with your intentions as if already being fulfilled into your heart, body and mind. This meditation is a programming tool for connecting with your intuition and planting your subconscious mind with the seeds of your intentions. As you do, you will become more aware of your surroundings and of upcoming possibilities. You will start noticing a flow of synchronistic events in your life and new opportunities that you would not have seen without these meditations. Soon, you will be making the conscious choices from which… you will thrive.
