THE ALCHEMY OF HOMEOPATHY
Therefore the physician must start from nature, with an open mind.”
~ Paracelsus ~
“Through the like, disease is produced, and through the application of the like, disease is cured”.
All over the planet the Law of Similars has been used by ancient traditions including the Mayans, Greek, Chinese, Indians and Native American Indigenous people. However Samuel Hahnemann through his numerous translations, intense research and experiments succeeded to codify the Law of Similars into a systematic medical science.
Hanhemann wrote: “So, it is the totality of symptoms, the outer image expressing the inner essence of the disease, i.e., of the disturbed vital force, that must be the main, even the only, means by which the disease allows us to find the necessary remedy, the only one that can decide the appropriate choice”. This means that symptoms are the voices of the body to which we need to listen. By listening, one can reveal the imbalances and offer the remedy or treatment with the proper vital quintessence or resonance, that will ignite the body`s natural wisdom in correcting the root of the dis-ease.
I see Homeopathy as one of the expressions of the Alchemy of Spirit! Spirit is in everything, the visible and the invisible. It is the Expression manifested of the Super Organism or Great Mystery that is Creating and re-Creating our Cosmos, Universe, Earth and Physical body. Spirit is the Essence that permeates all life, in its individuality and in its wholeness!
And then …there is the Alchemy! As everything has a resonance and a vibration, the Alchemy is the slow and evolving process of capturing and revealing this essence. From a philosophical point of view, it can be the result of the Art Of Transmutation of the Self which is like the rose blossoming fully to open its petals and finally showing its true essence, after years of growth from a seed to its full potential. If alchemy is the art of transmutation of energies than this explains in part how homeopathy is a system that aims to understand and capture the essence of a dis-ease, to be matched to the similar medicinal essence of a substance whether it is from a plant, a mineral or other. By encouraging and supporting the human organism and its vital force, it can eventually enhance the transmutation of the self!
“In the state of health the spirit-like vital force (dynamism) animating the material human organism reigns in supreme sovereignty.
It maintains the sensations and activities of all the parts of the living organism in a harmony that obliges wonderment.
The reasoning spirit who inhabits the organism can thus freely use this healthy living instrument
to reach the lofty goal of human existence.”
~ Samuel Hahnnemann in “Organon of Medicine”

My Recipe For “Végé Paté”
Soaking or fermenting grains, seeds and nuts, is a traditional practice that helps make them more digestible, by reducing phytic acid and enzyme inhibitors for better nutritional value, absorption and digestion.
It’s done by soaking them in water in a warm place or with an enzyme rich addition like raw apple cider vinegar, whey, yogurt, or kefir for a period of time. Sprouting grains, seeds, nuts and legumes is another way to reduce nutrients inhibitors. It enhances the texture of whole grains, eaten raw or cooked. You can also make this recipe grain free by using ½ cup of chia seeds and ¼ cup additional pumpkin or sunflower seeds.
- 2/3 cup or Engevita or nutritional yeast
- 3/4 cup quinoa prealably soaked overnight and rinsed. Or a combination of 1 / 2 cups quinoa and 1/4 or chickpea flour.
- 1/2 cup pumpkin seeds prealably soaked for 6 hours or overnight and coarsely ground.
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 large branch of celery grated
- 2 medium carrots grated
- 1 medium potato grated
- 2 tablespoon lemon juice table
- 4 tablespoons organic tamari sauce ( can use brag instead)
- ½ teaspoon of thyme
- 1 tablespoon teaspoon basil
- 3 tablespoons of dried stinging nettles
- Herbamare salt( optional), pepper to taste
- 1 cup warm water.
- Black or regular sesame seeds unhulled.
- Generously oil a 20 x 10-cm (8 x 4-inch) Pyrex or stainless steal pan and sprinkle its base with the sesame seeds. Set asides.
- With the rack in the middle position, preheat the oven to 180 °C (350 °F).
- In a food processor, grind the pumpkin seeds and set asides in a large bowl
- Grate the potato, onion, celery, carrot, garlic and add to the seeds in the large bowl as well as the remaining ingredients. Stir well.
- Pour the mixture into the oiled pan and spread it out 1 1/2 inch thick onto a dish going to the oven for about 45 minutes to an hour it with a wooden spoon. Bake for about 45 minutes to an hour or until the végé pâté begins to brown and the tops spring back when lightly pressed.
- Let cool. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Unmould and slice. Will keep for one week in the refrigerator. Can also be frozen.
There you go! Enjoy your meal!
INSPIRATION OF THE MONTH
To continue to be inspired on Spirit, Alchemy and Homeopathy here is a short film about the memory of water from the work and research of Dr.Masaru Emoto. Born in Japan and Doctor of Alternative Medicine, his photographs were first featured in his self-published books ‘Messages from Water‘ 1 and 2. ‘The Hidden Messages in Water‘ was first published in Japan, with over 400,000 copies sold internationally.
And as always … I am grateful for the opportunity to serve as a guide and facilitator toward empowerment, helping you in developing the necessary tools and confidence to take your health into your own hands. Gratitude also for the possibility to share, for each one of you in my life, and for the precious and endless teachings that I receive from each and every one. We are all learning from each other and truly interconnected!
In Gratitude, Love, Health and Happiness,
” Without the vital force **, the material organism is unable to feel, or act, or maintain itself.
Only because of the immaterial being (vital principle, vital force)
that animates it in health and in disease
can it feel and maintain its vital function.”
