There are many times, depending on your situation, your age, the chronicity and severity of the disease, where it is realistic to expect 1-3 years of treatment. After the first year, appointments become less frequent, about every 2-3 months or even less often. Homeopathic remedies are usually included. If needed, they can be found in health food stores or local pharmacies. There are additional costs for supplements if needed.
Payment Policies & Discount
- Payment is expected at the time of service, via cash, cheque or e-transfer. Receipts are provided for all payments.
- Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice are charged to the patient for a fee equivalent to the amount of the time booked.
- Naturopathic Medicine is covered by most extended health care plans and may be used for tax purposes.
- Most extended health plans will cover a portion of your visit fee. Many plans pay up to 80% of patient visits. Therefore, please check with your coverage prior to your first visit. Here are some key questions to ask your provider:
- What is the maximum amount per year that I can get covered for myself and my family?
- Is there a limit to an initial visit consultation?
- Is there a limit to follow up visit consultations?
- Do you cover any naturopathic lab services?
- If you have premium assistance through Health Insurance BC/MSP (HIBC/MSP), call HIBC at 800-663-7100 to determine if you qualify for premium assistance.
- Plans usually renew on a yearly basis each January, meaning that you may have a certain dollar amount per year that can be used towards naturopathic medicine. This also means that it may be helpful to use your coverage before it expires on December 31st of each year.
- Because fees are subject to change, please confirm at time of booking.
- We are happy to provide Seniors (65 years of age and over) a 10% discount off of all visits and most medicines.
- Members of the same family who are living under the same roof can receive a 10% discount off their visit fees.
- 10% discount available for students.
- Consideration given for those experiencing financial hardship; please inquire.
