Dearest Patients,
We are happy to announce that we are finally re-opening our doors at Sequoia Naturopathic Centre.
Things are slightly different as we have to comply with the safety protocols required by the College of Naturopathic Physicians of BC and the Provincial Health Office.
No matter what, we are navigating as peacefully and mindfully as possible with these new rituals and nuances, to be there FOR YOU, so that you feel welcomed, seen, heard and felt, while we are taking the required measures to minimize the risk of viral transmission, So, please let us know if you have any concerns, or how we can accommodate you as best as we can.
What does it look like?
First of all, pre-screening is required, so you will be asked to fill out a simple Yes or No COVID-19 Symptom Self Assessment Questionnaire including a Consent Signature the day before your visit, and again when you arrive for your appointment.
On the day of your appointment, you are asked to come to the door of the clinic on time for your appointment and to sit outside if you like, until we open the door for you. To be punctual is important as we need to honour everybody’s time, as well as needing additional time in between each patient to cleanse and freshen the space for you. Please arrive unaccompanied, unless you need help or are accompanying a minor.
When you come in, you will be offered an alcohol based hand sanitizer. Masks are not mandatory, except preferably during Bowen therapy or during physical examination as the nature of these means that physical distancing is not possible. You are welcome to bring your mask if you have one.
If you feel that you are at highest risk or for other reason do not feel comfortable attending in person, I am still offering virtual TeleMedicine sessions, or I can offer consultations over the phone. Please call me to inquiry about your concerns if you like.
Note that if you are experiencing any symptoms within the BC Covid-19 Symptom Self-Assessment, you must cancel your appointment. Be assured that no cancellation fees will be in effect in those circumstances.
We hold you very close to our hearts and we hope to make your experience as nurturing and caring as possible.
Thank you for your support and for your patience in these moments in time!
Our warmest to you,
Dr Denise Rochon ND
…and Jacquie Parry, our Assistant.
